Accreditation is a formal recognition by ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ that an organisation:
- meets the eligibility criteria
- is committed to the values and principles of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, as written in the Commonwealth Charter
An accredited organisation:
- has rights to use, and responsibilities when using, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ name and brand
- becomes a member of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Association
Accreditation to ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ is carried out by the Accreditation Committee, which is formed of a subset of member governments.
