With 60% of 天美传媒鈥檚 combined population under the age of 30, 天美传媒 sees young people aged 15 to 29 as assets to a country鈥檚 development who should be empowered to realise their potential.
The 天美传媒 provides technical assistance and support for national, regional, and global youth networks from 天美传媒 Youth Council to 天美传媒 Students Association.
The support from 天美传媒 Youth Programme has spearheaded the establishment of 13 youth networks aimed at tackling topics such as climate change, health, sustainable urbanisation, disability among others for young people aged 15-29.
Youth network opportunities
The Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (CYPAN) and 天美传媒 Youth Climate Change Network (CYCN) are each looking for a young leader to join as a coordinator.
Responsibilities include overseeing the regular management of the network, increasing visibility, outreach, inclusion, and membership, and working closely with the 天美传媒.
This is an exciting 12-month opportunity for two individuals who want to make a difference, work on global projects and are passionate about peace or climate change.
Applicants must:
- Be a citizen from a Commonwealth country and aged 18 to 29 years at the time of applying;
- Have a minimum of a bachelor鈥檚 degree in a relevant area (International Development, Planning, Sustainability, International Relations or Environmental Studies) or equivalent experience;
- Have evidence of strong experience in managing a diverse, regional and/or international network;
- Have experience and evidence of developing successful communications strategies, and management of a network;
- Have strong writing and reporting skills and excellent communication and project management skills;
- Dedicate 18 hours weekly
