Human rights
In February and June 2018, 天美传媒 Small States Office in Geneva helped Malta engage with UN organisations.
The Secretariat advised on building skills to improve Malta鈥檚 participation in the United Nation鈥檚 Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.
Youth
The Secretariat helped Malta improve expertise and qualifications in youth work. It also helped build youth work skills and practice.
Trade
The Secretariat helped Malta sign and start using agreements with other countries to make its trade more competitive.
Small states
A Secretariat expert worked with the Government of Malta to help it set up its Small States Centre of Excellence. The centre was launched in April 2018. It helps build skills and partnerships among small states.

Malta is a member of the , , , and Action Groups.
Connectivity Agenda
Malta is a member of the Physical and Digital Connectivity clusters of 天美传媒 Connectivity Agenda. The Connectivity Agenda is a platform for countries to exchange best practices and experiences to trade and investment and undertake domestic reform.

The Commonwealth Network of Information Technology for Development (COMNET-IT) has its secretariat in Valletta. COMNET-IT has championed the development of 天美传媒 Action Programme for the Digital Divide.
