Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland has met the Malaysian minister for human resources, Dato’ Sri Richard Riot.
They discussed Malaysia’s interest in extending pan-Commonwealth opportunities for technical and vocational education and training (TVET), approaches to gender equality and inclusiveness, as well as the ‘Commonwealth Advantage’ and the power of youth.
Dato’ Sri Riot and Secretary-General Scotland said they looked forward to ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in 2020, which will be hosted by Malaysia.
The minister was accompanied by the president of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Study Conference Association of Malaysia, Adrain Jerome.
