An annual reception to mark Commonwealth Day was held at Marlborough House, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½â€™s headquarters in London today.
The reception was attended by The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. The Commonwealth Secretary-General greeted their Royal Highnesses, before introducing them to guests including High Commissioners, Commonwealth youth representatives and other Commonwealth organisations.
At the reception, guests celebrated the work of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ and marked the beginning of a new Commonwealth year under the theme ‘Delivering a Common Future: Connecting, Innovating, Transforming’.
Guests were treated to entertainment from Rwandan musicians. The next Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) will be held in Kigali, Rwanda, in June this year.
