The Links Incorporated (The Links), a Commonwealth-accredited organisation, in partnership with the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, is launching a transformative STEM programme to provide young learners throughout ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ with educational opportunities, mentorship, and professional guidance in STEM, and to introduce learners to STEM champions.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education is regarded as a priority in high, middle and low-income countries. However, STEM education is lagging in some parts of the world, including many Commonwealth member countries.
This STEM programme will raise awareness of the opportunities in pursuing STEM-related academic programmes and the prospects of a career in STEM.

Expand STEM education opportunities across ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½

Increase awareness and engagement in traditional and emerging STEM fields

Introduce learners to accomplished STEM professionals

Showcase career pathways in disciplines such as engineering, zoology, biology, chemistry, and environmental science.

Format
The programmes will be held for approximately one hour per session every month using Zoom or other video-conferencing technology.
