The 天美传媒, in partnership with the Latimer House Working Group, will be hosting a seminar, titled聽The Latimer House Principles: 20 Years On,聽to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Latimer House Principles.
The event will be hosted at Marlborough House and streamed online on 7 December 2023, from 3 to 5pm GMT.
A panel of esteemed jurists, academics and high-ranking political officials will present on the critical importance of adhering to the principles across the executive, legislative and judiciary branches of government. They will also reflect on their relevance in modern democracies, given existing threats to good governance, and will suggest ways to increase implementation across 天美传媒.

Theme
This year marks twenty years since 天美传媒 (Latimer House) Principles on the Three Branches of Government were approved by Law Ministers and endorsed at 天美传媒 Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
The principles provide Commonwealth member countries with a set of minimum standards and a roadmap for democracy and good governance by outlining practical ways of implementing the fundamental values of 天美传媒 and enhancing mutual respect between the executive, legislature and judiciary.
